Delta Reign: Where to Buy at Target, Walmart & Pokemon Center

Why Delta Reign Is Hard to Get

Delta Reign is one of the Pokemon TCG releases collectors are watching most closely right now. As with most new expansions, the sealed products people chase first, like Elite Trainer Boxes, Booster Bundles and Booster Boxes, are the ones that disappear fastest when they go live. Each retailer also releases product in its own way, so the same set can be easy to miss at one store and catchable at another.

Not every detail has been confirmed yet. This page sticks to what is known for each retailer and sends you to the full guide for each one. If a price, date or product isn't listed here, check the retailer's own listing before you plan around it.

Pokemon Center

Pokemon Center ran Delta Reign preorders through its online queue, where shoppers wait in a virtual line before they can reach checkout. The listed items were the Elite Trainer Box (limit 2), the Booster Bundle (limit 1) and the Booster Box (limit 1). If you're planning to try for a later Pokemon Center drop, our Pokemon Center queue and checkout guide covers how to get through the waiting room without losing your place.

Target

Several Delta Reign products have shown up as preorders on Target's backend, and Target's online drops usually land overnight. A backend listing isn't the same as live stock, though, and Target sometimes releases items nobody saw coming. The Delta Reign at Target guide lists the loaded products, typical drop timing and how to read backend alerts.

Walmart

This site hasn't confirmed Walmart's Delta Reign product list or timing yet. What we can explain is how Walmart usually handles big sets: online restocks through Walmart Wednesday queue drops and, for select products, its draw (raffle) system. The Delta Reign at Walmart guide walks through both routes and the account prep Walmart now requires.

Which Retailer Should I Try First?

There isn't one right answer. It depends on which products you want and when you're able to be online. Here's how the three compare at a glance:

• Pokemon Center: the clearest picture up front, since the products and per-customer limits were listed for preorder. The queue rewards patience more than raw speed.
• Target: worth watching overnight. Backend preorder loads give you an early signal, but drop times aren't fixed and surprise items tend to have low stock.
• Walmart: the least predictable of the three right now, because product lists aren't visible ahead of time. Getting your account ready in advance matters most here.

Most collectors who end up with the products they wanted didn't rely on a single store. Trying all three improves your odds, but no retailer or tool can promise you a box.

How Alerts Help With Delta Reign

Restock monitors watch retailer backends for changes, such as a new product listing appearing, a release date being attached to a listing, or stock becoming available. When one of those changes happens, the monitor sends a direct link so you can go straight to the product instead of searching for it. With three retailers releasing on three different schedules, that saves you from checking each site by hand at all hours.

PokeScan sends these alerts to Discord for Target, Walmart, Pokemon Center and many other retailers. It can't guarantee you'll check out, but it tells you when to look. PokeScan is $8.99/month with a 5-day free trial.
