Costco Ascended Heroes 2-Pack: Where to Find It

What Costco Has Carried in Ascended Heroes

Costco has been one of the more interesting places to find Ascended Heroes. So far its lineup has included Elite Trainer Boxes along with the 5-pack and 10-pack Mini Tins. The 2-Pack is the newest Ascended Heroes item we're tracking at Costco, and it's following the same pattern as the earlier products: it reaches some warehouses well before others.

If you're after Ascended Heroes in general rather than the Costco item specifically, our Ascended Heroes restock tracker covers every major retailer. This page is only about finding the 2-Pack at Costco.

How Costco Rolls Out New Pokemon Product

Costco doesn't flip a switch and stock every warehouse at once. Product moves from Costco's regional depots first and then out to individual warehouses, and that happens region by region. The result is a staggered rollout. Collectors in one part of the country may be posting photos of the 2-Pack while shoppers elsewhere haven't seen a single box.

For Ascended Heroes hunters, this has two practical effects. First, a "sold out" report from someone in another region tells you nothing about your local warehouse. Second, the 2-Pack can show up at your warehouse days after you first hear about it, so it's worth checking more than once rather than giving up after one empty trip.

Reading Warehouse Stock Before You Drive

Costco stock lookups give each warehouse a status. For the Ascended Heroes 2-Pack, here's how to treat each one when you're deciding whether to get in the car:

• On hand: the 2-Pack has physically arrived at that warehouse. Your odds are best here. Go soon, because other Ascended Heroes collectors will be watching the same status.
• In transit: it's shipped and on the way, and could hit the floor later the same day. Call the warehouse before making the trip, since arrival isn't guaranteed.
• On order: the warehouse expects the 2-Pack but nothing has shipped. Treat it as a heads-up and keep checking rather than driving over.

Price, Limits and Contents

The price, purchase limit and exact contents of the Costco Ascended Heroes 2-Pack haven't been confirmed on this site, so we aren't listing them. Costco sets its own prices, and limits can vary. Confirm all three in the warehouse, on the product tag or with a staff member, or on Costco's listing for the item before you buy.

You'll also need a Costco membership to shop the warehouse, so bring your card.

Checking Nearby Warehouses and Calling Ahead

• Look at several warehouses, not just your closest. Because the rollout is regional and staggered, a warehouse a bit further out may already be on hand while yours is still on order.
• Call ahead when it's in transit. A quick call can save a long drive. Ask whether Pokemon product came in on that day's delivery.
• Ask on the floor. If the status says on hand but you can't find the 2-Pack, ask an employee. It may not be set out yet.
• Earlier is better. Once a warehouse has stock, the first part of the day gives you the best chance before it sells through.

How PokeScan Helps

PokeScan's Costco stock tracking shows stock, warehouse and in-transit information, so you can see which warehouses have the Ascended Heroes 2-Pack before you drive. Members also get daily store lists showing where stock is landing. You'll know which warehouses are worth the trip without calling each one.

PokeScan can't promise the 2-Pack will still be there when you arrive, but it takes most of the guesswork out of choosing a warehouse. For Costco's overall approach to Pokemon, see our Costco Pokemon restock guide, and if you're also hunting the anniversary set, read the Costco 30th Celebration 2-Pack guide. PokeScan is $8.99/month with a 5-day free trial.
